Hi Fruity family, friends and darlings…

Now that we’re 21 with the key to the city handed over by the Mayor of Lismore, it’s time we owned a home for the fruity community and friends.

This has long been a DREAM of our committees past and present, and of course was a heartfelt wish of our dear departed Erif.
 
We now have an opportunity to buy our Fruit Bowl Clubhouse for $180,000. The vendor will finance half the amount, we’ll need to find $100,000 to secure this finance offer.

To realize this dream we need your help to raise the $100,000. To date we have $15,000 in the “Home and Land Fund” founded by Erif.

Tropical Fruits are financially sound, we will contribute 5% from the modest profit made from our New Year party and other fundraising events to this fund every year.
 
We would love you to consider a number of ways in which YOU TOO could donate to the fund.

You could:
 
1) send a fabulous small cheque
2) send a fabulous fat cheque
3) complete a fabulous direct debit pledge form. As  little as a few dollars per month (less than your coffee), would help greatly. 
4) make a direct cash donations at the Fruit Bowl Clubhouse or at our parties.
5) RUN a fabulous fundraising event for us, or donate a fabulous Prize to be raffled.

We can all do this together, we are only limited by our imaginations.
 
At the Fruit Bowl Clubhouse we’re creating a “Home and Land Fund” thermometer, to track our progress to home ownership.

Updates of the contribution total will also be published each quarter in the Fruit Juice newsletter.

Come in to see for yourself how it’s going and enjoy yourself at the clubhouse.

If every one of our members contributed $5 a month, we could raise $1000 monthly. If we received even more, from those who can afford it, then we would reach our goal much sooner.
